The Concept

The cannabis plant, for thousands of years, has been used as a raw material for textiles, food and medicine. However, in different places around the World, this versatile plant has also been used to elevate the spirit of individuals through rituals and ceremonies.

From India to China or from South and Central America to Japan, cannabis was used to put in contact the individual with the ‘spirits’, or ‘kami’, of the magic world, thus purifying its own emotions from evil doing.

The Objective

The creation of nine illustrations, divided in three groups, where each group represents a cannabis strain connected to a specific spiritual emotion.
